The BOOKLETS currently featured on the site represent a starting point for this particular facility, but I hope to include more information on a much wider variety of subjects, as I get around to both researching and writing them. The featured publications presently represent my own particular areas of interest, including the Bull Terrier breeds of dogs, historic British characters, Country Classics features some of the best country and western music stars from the past, the origins and derivations of modern day surnames and the history of my home city of Chester. Added to these, are features on Dog Breeds from around the world, a review of some of the more notable and better known Roman Emperors who helped to extend both the power and influence of the early Empire. Great Britons offers an overview of some of the most truly individual British leaders who have helped to shape our modern nation, be they engineers, crowned heads or military leaders. The Popular Music page will eventually include details on the multiplicity of singers and bands who have featured in the music charts over the past four decades, from the era of the Beatles right through to the Kaiser Chiefs of today. As you will appreciate, such extensive and diverse subjects take time to both research and compile, so please be patient while the sites various sections and pages are fully constructed (hopefully it'll be a "blinder" by the time it's finished). For each of the individual subjects covered I have included a section of the relevant article or chapter for visitors to read online, in order for them to determine whether or not the subject interests them sufficiently. In the event that you like what you've read, then you might consider purchasing a "hard" copy of the featured booklet, details of which are shown HERE. If you find that you don't like the content or style of my articles, then all that you've really lost is the time taken to read the information shown!. Each of our booklets is produced in an A5 format, is printed in black and white only and the price shown includes the cost of posting the item. The project entitled "Notes on a Roman Military Fortress - A brief record of Chester's 2000 year history" has already been featured as a series of weekly articles by "The Chester Chronicle", a local newspaper, which is part of the much larger Trinity Mirror Group. Also, all of the articles contained within the "Bull Terrier Times Magazine Compilation" have been featured in past issues of the "Bull Terrier Times" publication which was distributed worldwide during the late 1990's. By clicking the relevant left-hand link you will be taken to an introductory page for the subject, which includes a series of hyperlinks for the individual chapters, articles and features which form part of that particular publication.
